Arc Flash

Arc Flash

It is the responsibility of a business owner or manager to provide a safe work environment for all workers. There can be many dangers in a facility which could cause injury or death. When electrical insulation breaks down due to dirt, moisture or is damaged electricity can flash-over causing a high temperature event which burns the air and everything else within its blast radius. When people are within the blast radius this is referred to as an arc-flash event.

If it is possible to prevent Arc Flash and the proof is made known to those who have the ability to implement the solution ignore it at the cost of lives and injuries to electrical workers in their facilities, are they liable for the damage and loss of life it causes?

In the United States each year 1 to 2 electricians are killed due to Arc Flash occurrences and some 2,000 end up in burn centers due to their injuries. When the losses caused by Arc Flash Damage, Injuries, lost Equipment, Downtime and Law Suits are added up each year it totals $30,000,000,000 or more.

Restore those funds to the bottom line of the companies experiencing these Arc Flash events and add to the restoration of America.

KEMA Lab Testing proving Arc Flash can be prevented has been provided to the International Brotherhood of Electrical workers (IBEW), The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Occupational Health and Safety Association (OSHA) hopefully they will join in helping promote the saving of the lives and wellbeing of the electricians effected by this problem. The solution exists, and can be found at www.phaseback.com
